Description

“Ryoutei no Aji: Miso Soup” is a commercial for the Marukome company. A father is unhappy about his daughter’s chosen partner. The daughter sends a letter saying that she is soon to be married. To everyone’s surprise, her father appears on the wedding day. During the festivities, the father still finds it visibly difficult to get in touch with his spouse’s family, but with miso soup as a welcoming gesture, he finally manages to get closer.

Ein Vater ist unzufrieden über den erwählten Partner seiner Tochter. Die Tochter schickt einen Brief, in dem sie mitteilt, dass sie bald heiraten wird. Zur Überraschung aller erscheint ihr Vater am Tag der Hochzeit. Bei den Feierlichkeiten fällt es dem Vater sichtlich schwer, mit der Familie des Ehegatten in Kontakt zu treten, doch mit der Miso-Suppe als begrüßende Geste schafft er es schließlich, sich anzunähern.
