Synopsis

Kabamaru spent his entire childhood in a village in the mountains, where he was instructed in the art of the ninja by his strict grandfather. After his sensei’s death, he looks forward to finally being able to eat what he wants and get out of his village. He is accompanied to Tokyo by the old woman Ran Akoko, as she has supposedly been commissioned by his grandfather to look after him from now on. The ordinary school that Kabamaru now attends turns out not to be so normal at all, however, and he is soon drawn into the dramatic conflict between two public schools.
