D4DJ Double Mix (2022)

“D4DJ Double Mix” puts the DJ units RONDO and Merm4id in the spotlight. The girls of the latter are immensely happy that the DJ festival D4 FES is taking place again and that they can participate. With influences from metal and rock, however, the DJ unit is not the most common and quite a contrast to Merm4id, for example. Their Rika Seto is conspicuous at a photo session because of her unusual thoughtfulness. When she then shows up at RONDO, she makes an unusual suggestion: the two DJ units should perform live together. Although RONDO’s Tsubaki Aoyagi is also pondering how to proceed with their unit, can a collaboration really work with such stylistic differences?

»D4DJ Double Mix« stellt die DJ-Units RONDO und Merm4id in den Mittelpunkt. Die Mädchen der letzteren freuen sich immens, dass das DJ-Festival D4 FES wieder stattfindet und sie teilnehmen können. Mit Einflüssen von Metal und Rock ist die DJ-Unit allerdings nicht die üblichste und z. B. ein ziemlicher Gegensatz zu Merm4id. Deren Rika Seto fällt bei einem Fototermin durch ungewohnte Nachdenklichkeit auf. Als diese dann bei RONDO aufkreuzt, macht sie einen ungewöhnlichen Vorschlag: Die zwei DJ-Units sollten gemeinsam live auftreten. Zwar ist auch RONDOs Tsubaki Aoyagi am Grübeln, wie es mit ihrer Einheit weitergehen soll, doch kann eine Zusammenarbeit bei solchen stilistischen Unterschieden wirklich funktionieren?
