King Fang (1978)

The reddish-brown female wolf Devil was part of a circus, but when the circus tent burned down, she took the opportunity to escape into the wild. She mates with a hunting dog and gives birth to the wolf-dog Fang in the vast forests. But the family’s happiness does not last long, for a cruel one-eyed, man-eating bear of huge stature kills Fang’s family, and the pup narrowly escapes the massacre. Eventually, he is taken in by the humans Sasane and Yoshito. There, he lives with his father, but being half wolf, he longs for the freedom of the wild all his life … and for revenge on his mother’s killer.

Die rotbraune Wolfsdame Devil war Teil eines Zirkus, aber als das Zirkuszelt abbrannte, nutzte sie die Gelegenheit, um in die Wildnis zu entkommen. Sie paart sich mit einem Jagdhund und bringt in den weitläufigen Wäldern den Wolfshund Fang zur Welt. Doch das Familienglück währt nicht lange, denn ein grausamer einäugiger Menschenfresser-Bär von riesiger Statur tötet Fangs Familie und der Welpe entkommt dem Massaker nur knapp. Schließlich wird er von den Menschen Sasane und Yoshito bei sich aufgenommen. Dort lebt er mit seinem Vater zusammen, aber da er zur Hälfte ein Wolf ist, sehnt er sich sein ganzes Leben lang nach der Freiheit der Wildnis … und nach der Rache am Mörder seiner Mutter.

Se aparea con un perro de caza y da a luz al perro lobo Fang en los vastos bosques. Pero la felicidad de la familia no dura mucho, ya que un cruel oso tuerto devorador de hombres de enorme estatura mata a la familia de Fang y el cachorro escapa por los pelos de la masacre. Finalmente, es acogido por los humanos Sasane y Yoshito. Allí vive con su padre, pero al ser mitad lobo, anhela la libertad de la naturaleza salvaje durante toda su vida … Y vengarse del asesino de su madre.
