Synopsis

In Tokyo in the near future, two scientists, Atsuko Chiba and Kosaku Tokita, have invented a new and innovative form of psychotherapeutic treatment: With the help of the DC Mini, it should be possible in the future to enter other people’s dreams and explore them to cure them of mental illness.

Unfortunately, the device is stolen before it is approved, which causes great panic. Because: If the device falls into the wrong hands, it can destroy a person’s psyche and, in the worst case, destroy their entire personality while they sleep. Together with detective Toshimi Konakawa, the researcher sets out to find the thief: while Toshimi scours the real world for the criminal, Atsuko penetrates the dream world as a “Dream Detective” under the code name Paprika. Can they make it together and recover the DC Mini?
